It does the job of a good diner very well. The service is quick and courteous. The food portion is appropriate. The quality of the food is good. I had Vienna Steak Medallions. I remember seen the restaurant for 20 years. There must be a reason why it stands long there.
All i can say is awesome food! Chicken dumpling soup is fantastic! Had the Tropicana Griller for dinner. Also fantastic! You can get it with steak or chicken. I went with steak. The steak was prepared as ordered and perfectly cooked. Nice and tender steak with a wonderful teriyaki sauce over rice, with cooked pineapple chunks, grilled onions and green peppers. Can't say enough about this place. I will be back when I'm in the area.

We were in town shopping and were looking for a quick place to grab some lunch. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and patient. Our orders came out super fast and the food was good. The waitress kept our waters full and was super attentive even though she was working several tables.
OK my 1st breakfast in Utica. Let me say I got the Savory breakfast with bacon, sausage n ham. With scrambled eggs. Was well cooked and scrumptious. Plus I stumbled upon a Bible study which in my eyes was perfect timing. Only minor drawback was no French Vanilla creamer or Sourdough toast. Very Good!
Local Hometown favorite Diner. Fast, friendly, fabulous service. Apple pork chops were juicy and delicious. Mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot. Potato pancakes are homemade and were awesome!
The food was great and the server was great The food came out fast and was cooked properly, nice and hot Chicken noodle soup didn't taste store bought. I had the chicken Parmesan which was great my wife got the tuna melt and onion rings and was great
Sunday. First Visit. Ordered Italian Wedding Soup. It was good, but not as heated as I would like. My immediate Choice was Lamb Shank Dinner, with Rice and Peas. I took half the Lamb (so tender and tasty!) and 2/3 of the Rice (huge serving) home for dinner. The sauce on the Rice and Lamb was really good, but I could have used a little more on the Rice portions I ate for dinner (and breakfast the next day. I told you it was a huge serving.) Friendly waitress and a friendly young man who parked my walker for me. Btw, I tucked into the Lamb Shack so fast, I forgot to take a photo. The Shacks are served Saturdays and Sundays. I'd say this place lives up to its reputation.
